• If you're a past member of the board, but can't recall your password any more, you don't need to set up a new account (unless you wish to). As long as you recall your old login name, you can log in with that user name then select 'forgot password' and the board will email you at your registration email, to let you reset your password.

Are There Books for Training My First Cav Puppy?

Hey there.

I am buying my puppy this week from a breeder and I have been studying up on the breed, the bring home, safety, and some training. I understand cavaliers are a breed you need to be gentle and patient with. Are there any training books out there that any of you recommend?

Ian Dunbar is an excellent resource. There are free, downloadable books with info from what to do before bringing your puppy home to lots of training techniques and tips for successfully training your dog.
