• If you're a past member of the board, but can't recall your password any more, you don't need to set up a new account (unless you wish to). As long as you recall your old login name, you can log in with that user name then select 'forgot password' and the board will email you at your registration email, to let you reset your password.

BIG puppy

He is adorable! I'd think he is likely to stabilise a bit around that weight now, though will fill out a bit more over the next two years, not so much in weight though. But usually that's most of their growing done by 8-9 months, that's the rapid phase. His coat is coming in nicely!
 
Daan looks sooo handsome,, who everyone who meets him will love him.

For comparison, I've got a 7 month old who's 8.3kg, so not too far behind. His brother is larger, around Daan's size. :D Gosh I love his looks, he really has some sass!
 
Soooo. Another quick update. Daan turned 10 months last February 28th. I took him to our vet for a checkup last Thursday, March 6th. And Daan was 11,11 kg./ 24.5 lbs. She wouldn't be surprised if he ends up at 15 kg./ 33 lbs. as an adult. A TRIM 33 lbs.

I'm scared. LOL
 
Wow that's a big boy but tbh... I think a little larger is nice with this breed, and think he looks like he has a nice broad skull of the healthier shape too :). My 'little' guy who had two breed standard parents is also turning out to be large!!! He's about 8 months now and is as large as my two largest cavaliers and still a bit of filling out to do. I think he was up over 8kg at last vet visit -- must get an accurate weight and will let you know. His brother is even bigger!! I'll be doing some fun agility with him I think -- he's very athletic and trainable.
