Dog friendly holidays! Finally

I just got a 2008 brochure for keycamp and I'm delighted to see they now accept dogs on their sites.Here's a list of all the French and european campsites that accept dogs and info on getting the PETS passport.

From Cork I can travel with Brittany ferries and take my furbaby with me in a secure kennel. I guess I need to brush up on my French veterinary terms.
It could turn out to be expensive but perhaps not much more than the cost of boarding kennels.

I wouldn't want to risk taking my dogs abroad for just a holiday. Even with innoculation, they can still contract rabies and you are taking them to an area whose viruses they aren't used to, so are more likely to get infected; just like humans, who catch colds etc when mixing with people from other regions. My brother-in-law always catches something, when he visits from Australia.
