What are some affordable clinics to run an MRI screening?

Looking for a clinic that won't charge an arm and a leg for an MRI. Anywhere in the US or Canada, I am willing to travel. Would appreciate if you included how much they charge

Thank you

I'm not sure of price variations these days, but I don't think anyone's doing a low cost MRI except in the UK. However there are research projects that come up at university vet centres sometimes that will do scans for free as part of a project but they'd generally need participant dogs to be fairly close (ie a reasonable drive).

There is this chart... I don't know how realistic it is not least as this is just a content aggregator site not anything to do professionally with dogs, but might be a starting point to make some calls or check websites for research options, if any? You might also message Rod Russell on his Cavalier Health website and see if he knows of any. He is a member here but not often on the board.

The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club of Canada organizes MRI screening clinics to check for chiari malformation and syringomyelia in our breeding stock. Scheduling is based on demand but there are usually two clinics per year. They are held in London, Ontario.

Thanks so much for this -- I will make a note of this for future questions and to create a future information post on MRI options. :)
